We listen first. Then we create a tailored maintenance plan that fits your marae's priorities, budget, and schedule – using only the services we provide (roof treatments, house washing, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, solar cleaning, and tank cleaning/sediment removal).

Honouring the Whakairo – Cleaning Pou the Right Way
The pou inside your wharenui and across your marae are more than carved wood. They carry whakapapa, tell stories, and connect whānau to tīpuna. Cleaning them cannot be treated like any other surface.
That's why we did things properly. Before offering this service, we sat down with a local carver – someone who understands both the art and the protocols. Together we talked through tikanga: which cleaning methods are safe, which products are never to be used, and how to approach each pou with the respect it deserves.
We learned that harsh chemicals strip more than dirt – they can remove natural oils, damage delicate carvings, and dishonour the mauri of the wood. We learned that steam and high pressure are never appropriate. And we learned that sometimes, the right method is gentle, patient, and guided by kaumātua.
Today, we clean pou using only the methods and products approved by the carver we learned from. We work slowly. We listen. And we always follow the lead of your marae committee on what feels right for your whare.

You choose the schedule that works for you – weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or tied to your marae's hui and fundraising cycles. There are no hidden interest fees, no credit checks, and no pressure.
Need to pause payments during a quiet season? We can do that. Want to pay as work is completed rather than upfront? Absolutely. Prefer to break a large maintenance plan into smaller, affordable instalments over six or twelve months? We'll build the plan around you.
